Note: A booking fee of $350.00 is required to save your date and all balance fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to wedding.

Dress rehearsal or run through prior to the day/night
PA system for extra volume and/or playing jams
Travel outside the 20km radius of Melbourne CBD or Aspendale is charged at $2.50 per km
For interstate or overseas weddings, flights and accommodation will be negotiated.

WHAT QUALIFIES AS A "JUST US" CEREMONY?

These ceremonies are designed for couples who are having a micro wedding or eloping. Which generally means fewer guests. By rule of thumb 2 guests to 40 guests tends to fit within the "intimate" wedding brief. The focus being on spending the day with your nearest and dearest, top tier life companions.

HOW DOES A "JUST US" CEREMONY DIFFER?

The "Just Us" ceremony style is suited to a more intimate wedding, therefore the contents of the ceremony tends to focus more on why a couple is great together than the how they got together and came to be standing before us to get married.

DO WE NEED A SPEAKER OR PA SYSTEM?

Part of my obligation as a marriage celebrant is to ensure that a marriage ceremony is audible to all guests, or understood by all guests. For smaller settings, if the elements permit, we can go without a the use of a speaker but if we have guests, in particular witnesses who are hard of hearing, it is advised we use one. You might also like to play ambient music for the ceremony or to welcome guests.

DO WE NEED A PERMIT TO GET MARRIED?

If you are choosing to get married on council land, on a beach or in a park for instance, you should enquire as to whether a permit will be needed. This comes at a cost to you and is something I can advise on but ultimately falls within your responsibility as the couple getting married.

WHO CAN BE OUR WITNESSES?

You need 2 people over 18 years old to confirm/certify that the ceremony was conducted and the two of you are married by signing the marriage documents. Who you choose is entirely up to you.

DO YOU SUPPORT LGBTQIA+ WEDDINGS?

1000% YES! In fact, the legalisation of marriage for all genders was what made me finally take the leap to become a celebrant. Inclusivity is a must.
